Mercy movies?

Of all the recent werewolf/vampire/etc. series, Patricia Briggs’s is the last one I would have picked to be optioned for movies, since it’s perhaps the least fluffy.

I’m just having trouble picturing this. Peanut gallery, what say you?

  1. I’m all about the Briggs books being brought to the screen. This is the first I’ve heard about it, so I’m excited to see what they do with it. I think it’s time for a vampire/werewolf movie that isn’t so fluffy to get some attention.

Have you heard that LK Hamilton is in talks with bringing Anita to the screen? It was announced at DragonCon.

  2. Oh, I had not heard that! I bounced off the first Anita book, though, so I don’t follow LKH.

I’m addicted to the NYTimes maps this morning, especially the county bubble view. Hello, population distribution! It’s fascinating to compare this year to 2004.
