Got Con

I’m at ConDFW. At the moment I’m in a somewhat lifeless panel, but it’s been a good, relaxing con so far — just what I needed. Work has been stressful, in case my continued absence here didn’t clue you in.

I’m in the habit of providing my friends with things I think they might like — TV shows, books, etc. Their friends want a goody dealer of their very own, so in order to reach these random people I don’t know, I’ll put some of that stuff up here (in its own category, so you can subscribe to that by itself if you want).

Wrote this morning, for the first time in several months. It was a mere 275 words, but it took a subplot in a new and better direction. These characters are trying to take over the book. Of course, this is not the book I was trying to focus on. Always works that way, doesn’t it?

Panel ending soon… time to buy more books.

  1. Will you be at Worldcon?

I wrote six sentences last week. You’re doing alright.

  2. You are the best friend ever! I’ve only been home a little more than 24 hours and I’ve already watched 4 episodes of VM. :) Whee!

I’m addicted to the NYTimes maps this morning, especially the county bubble view. Hello, population distribution! It’s fascinating to compare this year to 2004.
